Ok, last night a drunk with a .32 BAC (4 x the limit) hit a telephone pole (go figure, her blood was 32% alcohol.) So, the road is blocked and another drunk hits a patrol car which is all lighted perpendicular in the roadway so nobody hits the downed lines. TEP is there with overheads on and so was a tow truck. And the driver gets mad saying, "well of course I hit you, you were blocking the road." He was all convinced he was sober even after a .17 BAC readout on the intox. He thought he had a slam dunk case taking pictures of the patrol car he hit as it was still positioned in the road. Sticking to his claim that it was our fault for blocking the road. He even admitted seeing the red and blue lights prior to hitting the car! Don't drink in drive, It makes you look stupid + 10 days in jail now.

And the media is all upset about our accident rate. This is how it usually happens. The car was empty. our fault? The media would like you to believe it was. It's only a number in a statistic to them.
